TUI Airport Branding
Overview
Following the re-brand of First Choice and the update to the Thomson – ‘Discover your smile’ logos, we were asked to implement the new signage and graphics at 10 airports around the UK. The new graphics for Thomson featured Miles the teddy bear and carried the new ‘Discover your smile’ tag line whilst the First Choice graphics featured the new logo along with specific photographic imagery in keeping with the TV campaign promoting ‘The Home of All Inclusive’ holidays. The Thomson Airways message of both Thomson and First Choice ‘Travelling Together’ was also reinforced using imagery that shows sunglasses with logos on the lenses.
Site survey visits were organised to all of the airports and following the survey the artwork was created for all of the various Flexface signs, wall graphics and Lightbox signage. A roll out plan was then put together and the work commenced. This not only included all the print, production and fitting of the graphics but also the H&S and security planning which is essential when working in airport environments.
